Finance Assistant – Newcastle

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant business based in the heart of Newcastle. They are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team.  Your duties will be as follows:

  • Responsible for the management of both debtors and creditors ledgers
  • Income reconciliation and input to finance systems from various revenue streams
  • Dealing with supplier payment runs
  • Responsible for credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management of the purchase order system
  • Processing invoices for goods and services received
  • Maintaining accurate and timely books and records
  • Assisting in the development of the policies and procedures manual
  • Responsible for petty cash
  • Dealing with both internal and external finance queries

You will have previously worked in a finance capacity, ideally for a minimum of 3 years. Strong IT skills are essential and Sage 200 would be advantageous

Salary £20000-£22000 pending on experience

39 hour week
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
