KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a successful and growing company in Newcastle. Reporting to the MD, you will be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant. Your duties will be as follows:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Managing the preparation of statutory accounts
• Managing the preparation of annual budgets
• Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Cash flow analysis
• Prompt and accurate reconciliation of key control accounts and inter-company accounts
• Assisting in the development and implementation of finance and operational policies
• Assisting with the monthly payroll process, liaising with HR and other departments as needed
• Getting involved in ad-hoc reporting and other projects as needed
• Managing the finance team

You will have previously worked in an entrepreneurial/fast moving environment will excellent IT skills, particularly Excel.
