Accounts Assistant

Salary: £26000 - £29000

Location: Gateshead

KCR Solutions are delighted to assisting our client, based near Chester le Street, in their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant with an emphasis on purchase ledger control.

  • Monitoring of aged creditors
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing of employee expense forms.
  • Processing of all purchase invoices
  • Matching orders with invoices and delivery notes
  • Processing credit card purchase invoices
  • Ensuring ledger is maintained and purchase invoice queries are resolved
  • Ensure purchase ledger reconciles to general ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Processing timesheets for all employees
  • Petty cash control
  • Assisting with sales invoice processing as required
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Provide assistance as and when required to other departments within the company.
  • System used: Sage, Excel, Word

 

OFFICE BASED
You will be confident, outgoing and keen to learn. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and be open to offering support to other department on an ad-hoc basis when required.
