In this role, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for limited companies and sole traders, completing VAT returns, and managing bookkeeping across a variety of clients using cloud-based platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage. You will also assist with statutory audits and wider assurance assignments, prepare company tax returns and liaise directly with clients to gather records, provide updates, and deliver excellent service. Supporting the wider team with ad hoc accountancy tasks will also form part of your role. 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accountancy practice and be confident using cloud accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organised are essential. You should be proactive, eager to learn, and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
