• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Production of the monthly MI pack with clear commentary
• Maintenance and improvement of financial controls and processes
• Oversight of the part-time Accounts Assistant (PL, SL and cashbook)
• Preparation of the annual budget, periodic reforecasts and cashflow analysis and forecasts.
• Management of Payroll, VAT and tax submissions
• Liaison with external accountants for the preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Continual review and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Supporting the business with cost saving activities
• Liaising with the management team on all financial matters
• Supporting the wider business with financial insight and ad-hoc analysis
• Operating as the “go-to” finance professional across a busy manufacturing site

You will be a QBE or part-qualified accountant with solid SME experience and be happy taking ownership of all finance activities in a small team environment. Manufacturing experience would be beneficial, although not essential.
