The Role:

• Working with other members of the team and with clients, to build strong relationships.
• Preparing and finalising financial statements for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships as well as Corporation Tax Returns and FCA compliance forms etc.
• Reviewing accounts and VAT Returns completed by junior members of the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensuring professional standards are maintained across the team and that excellent client service is delivered.

Qualifications/experience:

• Proven practice experience and a practical understanding of the role.
• Preferable ACCA/ACA qualified but will consider minimum AAT fully qualified with practice experience.
• Proficient in accounting software (Taxcalc, FreeAgent, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage)
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Manage deadlines efficiently.
• Effective communication skills and a pro-active approach with clients.
